Almost ten years ago, I picked up a camera and fell in love. What began as a teenage infatuation gradually transformed into a mature, conscious devotion — a love for my practice. And like any deep feeling, it can consume you from within, push you to the edge of despair. There are moments when you contemplate death, simply to stop feeling — but love doesn’t leave. It continues to nourish the soul. At times, it becomes so powerful, so quietly magnificent, that the only thing left is to observe in silence. It is both storm and stillness. A reason to live — and perhaps, to die. And with that, comes responsibility. So why a toilet? It became a form — nothing more, nothing less. A vessel for the idea. An idea that isn’t new, and once was expressed through marble.
